And as I mentioned earlier, the salesman in both cases (Jerry O.) was helpful, respectful, and a pleasure to deal with. It is really unfortunate because I was looking forward to finally having a Honda dealer on the east side of town. Total lack of integrity on the part of Eric H., and it was very disappointing to myself and my family to not go home with a new vehicle that day after having told my family I was leaving to buy this vehicle. I have never been treated like such an idiot, with no respect shown to me, my time, or my family. The lack of respect shown by Eric Henderson has cost this dealership my business for a long, long time. I was kept at the dealership for an hour while they "worked on the numbers" to "see what they could do." In the end they didn't honor the agreement. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told there was a miscommunication and they could not honor the agreement. All of this was in writing, and it was confirmed verbally over the phone. I had an agreement with this dealership and Jerry Ortega on a specific vehicle, for a specific price, and with a specific interest rate. The 2nd occasion is the catalyst for this review. I would have preferred a simple "no, I can't sell the car at the price you are asking.the best I can do is this." He could do this for me, and do that.but in the end didn't do anything. He fit the car salesman stereotype and cliches were everywhere. Shawn Stittleburg was the manager in this situation during the negotiation process.
